25 April 2008 - RABIES SCARE
The effectiveness of our quarrantine regulations was put to the test this week when a puppy from Sri Lanka was found to have rabies in a North East London Quarrantine centre. The puppy had bitten three of the staff at the centre, but due to the rapid response and knowledge of the centre staff, these persons were quickly treated and are now recovering. They ensured that the rabies was contained and eradicated from this area. The puppy has since died.

11 March 2007 - CONGRATULATIONS TO CH CH/AM ARAKI FABULOUS WILLY!
At last - a Tibetan Terrier wins Crufts Dog Show! I am especially thrilled as my Mother has bred and shown Tibetan Terriers for 30 years and this is the first time the breed has won the accolade. And what an amazing dog, you could tell he has the confident air of a winner. So stunning - well done Willy!

Beware sultanas.....
It is common knowledge that chocolate is poisonous to dogs, but are you aware of how harmful sultanas are? Sultanas are highly toxic to dogs and can cause kidney and liver damage. Eaten in large amounts, they can be fatal.
