Safe Dogs in Cars

If your car is not big enough for your dog to travel in the boot behind a dog guard, the back seat is probably the only other option. To ensure your dog is safe and under control when you drive, use a dog car harness. Ancol have produced a comfortable, yet secure dog car harness which you use with the usual rear seat belt. If the car has to make any sudden movement, or even going round a tight roundabout your dog will not be thrown about or sliding back and forth in the back. It's also better for other passengers, as otherwise they could end up with a big canine on their lap!
